PMTSF Chapter 2 The Desert Tyranny

RECAP FROM CHAPTER 1
            Where we last left off, Mario and Kammy Koopa, who had been forced to work with Mario to save Bowser, had learned about the star keys and the king of shadows sealed under the star fountain, and that the first had been stolen by the Koopa Bros., who had taken over the Koopa Troop by pretending to be Bowser. Thus, the unlikeliest of duos ventured forth back to Bowser's castle, and allied themselves with Black Ninjakoopa, who realized Mario is not as bad as he seems to the others. With this Team-up, Mario and Co. were able to defeat the Bowser Mecha and collect the first Star key. Meanwhile, Peach and Luigi (Who were also kidnapped) discovered they were back in the Mushroom Kingdom, but Mario was missing!

CHARACTERS
        Mario - The Hero of our story who needs no introduction.
            Party Members
                Kammy Koopa - Bowser's Caretaker and Lead Minion who
                teamed up with Mario to rescue Bowser, Peach, and Luigi.
                Black NinjaKoopa - The Muscle of the Koopa Bros. and a
                Master of the Ninja-Shot Throw. He teams up with Mario
                after seeing he's not so bad after all
        Kolorado(Not-in-Picture) - a Famous Koopa Archaeologist who
        wishes to discover the secret of the Koopa Ruins and why it
        suddenly rose from the sand, not believing any of the locals'
        stories of sand creatures and King Sutt's Revenge.
        GoomBert - An Archaeologist/Map-Maker, he formerly worked
        with Kolorado and was the only one who believed the Locals
        of the Desert Outpost's Stories, before he was eaten by a giant
        Koopa made of Sand an was rescued by Mario. He is also Mario's
        First Goomba partner that he doesn't get in the Prolouge
        King Suttankhamusand (or Sutt for Short) - The Last Pharaoh
        of The Koopa Tyranny of The Koophara Desert, who died a year
        after two red and green knight brothers set loose his Toad Slaves.
        Thanks to the Star Key he was sealed with, King Sutt is revived
        and can control the Desert sands, as well as being able to create
        his Sand Creature Minions to retake the Koophara Desert.
        Sand Koopa - King Sutt's first Sand Creation, a Giant Koopa
        Troopa made with the Yellow Star Key to protect and serve him.
        Luigi(Not-in-Picture) - Mario's younger brother who has many,
        Many, MANY, Many, MANY Fears.
        Princess Peach(Not-in-Picture) - The Monarch of the Mushroom
        Kingdom who is always kidnapped by Bowser.
Item - Abilities granted from said Item using Star Energy - Ability Cost
        Fountain Water - Increases Star Energy by Five points to a single ten point Star Energy Container
        Orange Star Key - Gives Mario a Toad army cover and backup for 2 turns - Cost: 1 Star Energy Container
        Yellow Star Key - Can Allow Mario to Summon Sand Toads to increase the size of his Attacks (How high
        the attack goes is up to to how good you can preform the summoning, Highest attack up is 50) - Cost:
        1 Star Energy Container


CHAPTER 1/CHAPTER 2 TRANSITION
After a second adventure at Bowser's Castle Mario and Co. Return back to Toad Town to place the map back in the fountain. Along the way, Black, using his Ninja Skills, Notices that people are talking about an invasion of sand-like Creatures in the Koophara desert and whispers of the return of King Sutt, whoever that is, and informs Mario that they might have another problem to deal besides that Evil King of Doom. Before Placing the Map back in the Fountain, Mario decides to check up at the museum for Information about King Sutt. The curator, happy to see Mario, Tells him the story of King Suttankhamusand, or King Sutt for short. He was the Last Pharaoh of the Koopa Tyranny, an age when Koopas Kidnapped Toads for their Pharaoh and forced them to slave away in the Koophara Desert, before Two Brother Knights, both Red and Green, freed them, and the slaves escaped beyond the Desert. A year later King Sutt died and was entombed within his own place as the last Pharaoh, and the area it was in became known as the Koopa Ruins, but the Palace disappeared under the sand with Sutt along with it, and the Slaves formed the Desert Outpost after the creation of the Mushroom Kingdom. But now the Palace has risen again and the Locals are saying that Sutt is back for revenge and to reinstate the Koopa Tyranny with his new Minions of Sand. Mario, Kammy, and Black Know that they must stop this, but they also must rescue Bowser, Peach, and Luigi so they leave for the fountain, but as they walk out the door, the curator tells them if the have seen any ancient artifacts to bring them back to the museum were they can trade them for other interesting relics to help them. Bidding farewell to the curator, Mario and Co. head back to the fountain to see where the next star key is only to discover that it is the Koopa Ruins! Kammy Quickly informs Mario that, since they are heading for the Koophara Desert anyway, they can Defeat Sutt and Save the Desert, mostly so Bowser doesn't have any Koopa Competition for Evil Kingdom. So the company of three Head down to the TTT Station(That stand's for the Toad Town Train Station) to take the next train to the Desert.

CHAPTER 2: - THE KOOPA TYRANNY
After arriving in the Koophara Desert Outpost, Mario sees that it is overrun with Goombas and ParaGoombas made of sand called Sandoombas and ParaSandoombas. Seeing this small town in danger, Mario decides to take out the creatures plaguing this town and succeeds. After saving the outpost, the company of three learn that there is another adventurer seeking out the Koopa Ruins, Kolorado, But He has gone missing somewhere in Town. Mario decides to investigate around the outpost and eventually finds Kolorado in an old abandoned Koopa hut, but as Black approaches him, Reznob, Reznod, and Reznoc jump out and prepare for revenge, before Kammy questions where Reznon is, to which the Reznor Brothers embarrassingly reply that they accidentally locked him in one of Bowser's Castle Dungeons, but prepare to fight Mario anyways, which of course, they lose. After rescuing him, Mario and Co. try to question Kolorado about King Sutt, but Kolorado quickly replies that the Revenge of Sutt is just a legend and that these "Sandoombas" just happen to look like sand, before one jumps out an Mario smashes to a pile of sand. Kolorado, having just seen the impossible, starts to doubt all the Archaeology he has ever uncovered and wondering if GoomBert, his Map-Maker, was right after all. Hoping that Kolorado would know the way to the Koopa Ruins, Mario and Co. go out to seek someone else who knows the way.

While asking around the outpost, Mario and co. find someone who can lead the way to the ruins, a Tall Old gentlemanly man, who strikes Mario as very familiar. Following the old man's advice, the Company arrives at the Koopa Ruins, evading Sandoombas and Pokeys along the way. However, upon entering, The three quickly become lost and try to avoid all the dangerous Mummy Pokeys, Buzzy Beetles, and Swoops investing the Ruins. After opening a chamber in the far end of the ruins, Mario and Co. are Ambushed by a Giant Sand Koopa! After a long and lengthy battle, All that's left is it's shell, but after something begins to walk out, The floor beneath their feet starts to lower revealing it to be Sand! After falling down what seems to be forever, Mario and co. discover a Goomba living in the shell of the Sand Koopa, who tells them that his name is GoomBert, Kolorado's Navigator, before he fired him for believing the Locals' stories of King Sutt, but know has proof of it, before Black tells him that Kolorado knows now is kinda starting to doubt his life. Goombert then replies about what Mario and Co. is doing in the ruins which they state that they are here to stop Sutt and collect an artifact he has, and GoomBert says that he could be a help with his skill to create a map just from being inside a place, and demonstrates this by drawing a map of the ruins, and showing that the artifact their looking for might be in the treasure room and shows the way. But, after reaching the treasure room, they find it to be blocked and search for another way in, causing them to be trapped in. while the other three try to get rid of the stone block blocking the door, Mario notices a big chest and, thinking the star key is in it, opens it and acquires the Super Hammer, allowing him to destroy the block, and progress further.

With his new Super Hammer, Mario and his new company of three traverse the rest of the underground ruins and reach the Chamber Of King Sutt. However, after entering all they see is Sutt's Sarcophagus, Which begins to talk, revealing that the mind of Sutt is inside, and he calls upon the sand, creating arms and a shell for himself to battle Mario with, thus beginning the Chapter 2 Boss Battle. After Winning, Sutt replies that Mario is just as strong as the knights and that nothing will stop him from reclaiming his Kingdom, but GoomBert convinces him that the Koophara is at peace without, and Sutt reveals that he is just afraid of being alone and wanted some friends since he is only 10 years old, shocking Mario and Co. as everyone thought that he was an adult not a Boy King, and so Mario tells him that he can't force people to be his friends through Slavery, so Sutt gives up his Star Key and speaks to Mario about coming back with him to the Desert Outpost to make some Friends, knowing that Mario will always be his friend.

CHAPTER 2: - INTERLUDE
With Mario missing, Peach and Luigi decide to investigate Mario and Luigi's House for clues together, and Peach discovers some interesting secrets in the house, some Easter eggs, and some weird poorly made mistakes, Until Luigi discovers something. Where his secret diary room is (Which Peach already knows of from Mario), is a mass of underground cavern tunnels, which they prepare to navigate (Path-Choosing Mini-game). When they reach the end of the tunnels they discover a strange altar, but as they walk toward it an laugh and a demonic face appear and their back in the house where they discover that Luigi's secret diary room is back to normal. It appears as though something weird is going on.
